« Beyond Creation: Exploring New Horizons in Winemaking »

After the creation of the company “Les Vins IDS”, specialist in the production of Grand Crus and Prestige cuvees in Bordeaux region, David SUISSA, still looking for new experiences, has set new challenges: exploring new latitudes, new microclimates, new terroirs, and new varieties of grapes. Because of its vines of ancestral reputation, Israel emerged as evident.

That’s how EPHOD WINERY project was born:

Creating and branding under EPHOD Winery a range of Israeli wines whose vineyards are implemented at the edge of the Desert of Judah, Ramat Hagolan, Galil Haelyon, Har Brakha, Shomron. These terroirs give birth to very complex, elegant and authentic wines.

The EPHOD Winery range propose 3 distinct groups of products:

A line of 4 EPHOD flag ship Wines, under the name of GESHER and REGESH, coming from noble grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cinsault and Syrah. Those wines are very deep, full of complexity, silky and elegant.
2 upscale wine called “Prestige Cuvee”, under the name of EBIATAR and NEZER coming from noble grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and very matured Petit Verdot. These wines are oak-aged 18 months inside French new barrels, tannic, complex and full bodied, with an exceptional balance.

We thrive in making fine wines that enrich the taste&soul.
